Event Highlights
Join Kitsap Audubon Society at Poulsbo Fish Park to witness one of the Pacific Northwest’s most incredible natural events: the fall salmon migration!
This 40-acre park offers prime viewing along Dogfish Creek into Liberty Bay, where you can watch returning Chum, Coho, and Cutthroat trout make their journey upstream.
Salmon & Birding Walks: Bring your binoculars! Look for returning salmon in the stream and spot stream-side birds—like Belted Kingfishers, Great Blue Herons, and Bald Eagles—that thrive around healthy watersheds.
Family Activities: Enjoy interactive displays and a children's salmon coloring station.
Learn from the Experts: Trained Salmon Docents and local environmental leaders will be on hand to answer questions about salmon lifecycles, local wildlife, and watershed protection.
Featured Community Booths & Tabling
Stop by the educational tables set up throughout the park! Beside the Kitsap Audubon Society booth, you’ll find representatives from the City of Poulsbo, Kitsap Public Utility District (KPUD), WSU Kitsap Extension, and the Poulsbo Regional Library. Local naturalists and stream stewards will be hosting hands-on exhibits, sharing local conservation resources, and answering your questions about protecting Dogfish Creek and Liberty Bay.
