Join the Kitsap Audubon Society for our September program, "The Dinosaurs Amongst Us," featuring speaker Kim Adelson, PhD! Discover the fascinating connection between birds and their ancient ancestors. Kim will explore the structural and behavioral similarities between birds and nonavian dinosaurs, sharing new data that supports the idea that birds are, in fact, living dinosaurs. You'll never look at a T. rex the same way again!
Kim Adelson brings a wealth of knowledge to this topic with her background in evolutionary biology and a lifelong passion for paleontology. She is also the Vice President of the Black Hills Audubon Society and the Regional Representative to the Audubon Washington Advisory Board.
This program will be held on Thursday, September 11th. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the program begins at 6:30 p.m. We are thrilled to offer both in-person and virtual attendance options.
