Who Should Come: Everyone! This event specifically centers and creates a safe, affirming environment for LGBTQIA+ folks, BIPOC, and individuals with disabilities, while welcoming allies and birders of all experience levels.
Whether you are a seasoned birder with a high-powered scope or someone who just bought their very first pair of binoculars, this trip is designed for you. We will explore the diverse habitats of Fort Flagler at a accessible, relaxed pace, appreciating both our local bird species and the diverse community around us.
What to Bring:
Weather-appropriate layers and comfortable walking shoes
Binoculars (a limited number of loaner optics will be available)
Water, snacks, and a Discover Pass for park parking
